In terms of contacts, the overall balance can be considered positive, although the average quality of visitors perceived in this edition was, in the team’s opinion, lower than in 2024.

During the fair, approximately 30 visits by Italian interested parties were recorded at the stand: 14 on the first day, 17 on the second and between 7 and 8 on the third. Among these contacts, several showed a real interest in Laqtia’s products and, after the fair, thank you and commercial follow-up communications have already been sent. In the coming days, work will continue on the preparation of offers and price lists for customers with the greatest potential.

Trade balance of the fair

The fair allowed conversations to be held with diverse profiles in the vending sector, some of them with real possibilities for commercial development. Although the volume of visits was reasonable, the general perception is that in 2024 visitors with a higher level of professionalism and average potential value attended.

Even so, the 2026 edition has served to generate opportunities that deserve to be monitored. Some interlocutors have expressed a concrete interest in the purchase of products, which makes the post-fair phase a decisive element in transforming the contacts obtained into effective business.

Main opportunities detected

Venditalia remains a strategic trade fair to support Laqtia’s entry into the Italian market. It is not an easy or immediately accessible market, but it is a market with considerable potential for a company with a specialized offer of vending and dispensing products.

The fair has confirmed that there is room to develop a commercial presence step by step, as long as a constant and realistic strategy is maintained. Repeating participation in future editions, especially in 2028, may be advisable, ideally with an already more consolidated customer base and with a commercial proposal more adapted to the local market.

Difficulties identified

The main obstacle to developing sales in Italy remains logistics. Currently, the volume of cargo per pallet is limited in relation to the cost of transport, which penalises the competitiveness of the supply and conditions the commercial viability of certain operations.

In order to evaluate alternatives, approximately ten transport companies have been contacted and different proposals have been received. Some options are potentially interesting, but logistics cost remains a critical and structural factor in order to enter the Italian market more solidly.

Assessment of the organization

The holding of the fair in Rimini during the week may have reduced the attendance of some potential customers. However, from an organizational point of view, the overall experience has been positive, both in terms of accessibility and supporting infrastructure.

The accommodation responded satisfactorily in terms of quality, and having a rental car made it easy to move around flexibly. In addition, having hired parking for exhibitors was a particularly wise decision, as it allowed them to operate much more comfortably throughout the fair.

Aspects to improve for future editions

One of the clearest learnings is that the stand must communicate in a much more direct and visible way what exactly Laqtia sells. Since the company does not yet have a consolidated recognition in Italy, it is essential that the visitor immediately understands that these are products for vending and dispensing machines, and not machinery.

It was detected that some visitors did not clearly understand whether the company was marketing machines or products, which shows the need to reinforce the visual and commercial message of the stand. For future participations, it would be advisable to work on a clearer, more pedagogical and more product-focused exhibition identity.

Adaptation to the Italian market

Another particularly important point is the language. Presenting the stand only in English is not enough for the Italian market and can create an unnecessary distance from the local visitor.

For future editions, both the stand and the commercial materials should be at least in Italian and English, giving visible priority to Italian. The same logic must also apply to the website and all supporting documentation, as a serious entry strategy in Italy requires a linguistic and commercial adaptation consistent with the target market.

Strategic Perspective

Italy is a complex, competitive and demanding market, so immediate results cannot be expected. However, it is also a market with great potential, and the absence of consolidated activity today should not be a reason to postpone entry indefinitely.

The fair has shown that progress must be built progressively, with continuity, commercial monitoring and improvements in positioning, communication and logistics structure. If this process is not started now, it will be difficult to achieve the commercial objectives set for this market in the future.

Conclusion

Venditalia 2026 has been a positive and useful experience for Laqtia, although with clear room for improvement in terms of commercial approach, communication and local adaptation. The event has served to open contacts, identify real barriers and confirm that entry into Italy will require an investment of time, perseverance and a proposal more in line with market expectations.

The general recommendation is to maintain Italy as a strategic market, continue to follow up on the contacts generated and prepare from now on for an eventual participation in Venditalia 2028 with a more solid, more localized and commercially better structured presence.

Executive Summary Venditalia 2026 has been a useful and interesting fair for Laqtia, with a significant presence of professionals from the sector and with specific commercial opportunities open after the event.
